Apprenticeship
Make new friends and share adventures while learning outdoor leadership skills. With dedication and hard work, an Apprenticeship leads to life-long learning. The Wilders Apprenticeship covers the following subjects:
Animals & Farm Craft Help care for animals of the ranch and farm. Dig into gardens, planting food and tending to the earth. Learn essential farm skills to care for the land and homestead.
Wild Foraging & Outdoor Cooking Delve into the incredible world of wild plants. Learn how to identify and safely harvest wild foods. Master outdoor campfire cooking using dutch ovens, local and foraged foods, plus your own creativity.
Wild & Folk Craft Get hands-on experience in crafts like woodworking, basket weaving, and even cheese making. Learn to grow a Wilders Garden, where the garden grows into the forest and the forest grows into the garden.
Our Apprenticeship Mentors are experienced educators teaching authentic skills. They inspire positive growth through connection to community, nature, and outdoor lore.
