Blacksmith Shop
Anvil, Forge & Fire

Become a metal bender and learn the old-time craft of blacksmithing. With every clang of hammer on anvil, you transform hot iron into tools and art you can bring home. We supply all materials and tools! This camp is for both beginner and experienced blacksmithing students.

Forge & Fire

Our expert Trackers Guides lead fun camps with hands-on crafting skills. Younger grades explore and learn blacksmith skills. Older grades take on greater challenges and share skills across generations in leadership roles.

Grade 5-12 Blacksmith Shop Learn to safely use a wide variety of blacksmith tools in our studio workshop. Forge, split, twist, and punch hot metal to create art, crafts, and tools. Expand your horizons and craft your own projects to take home.

Grade 11-12 Blacksmith Shop LIT (Leader-in-Training) Build your metalworking skills. Apprentice with our expert blacksmith while inspiring younger campers. Prior invitation required. Limited room. Learn more…


Our Trackers Team

Each mentoring team is led by trained Trackers staff, including program coordinators and guides, who work together to create the Best Camp in the Known Universe for your child. Our guide qualifications include:

  • Background-checked staff, certified in First Aid & CPR.
  • Low student-to-guide ratios for team-based learning.
  • Ongoing professional development in youth mentorship and care.
  • Extensive training in safety and essential Trackers skills.

The Trackers Journey

Our program follows the Trackers Journey, where new and old friends come together for an epic adventure. Participants develop skills in independence, grit, and self-direction. Together as a Trackers team, they learn to care for and connect with their community, many generations, and nature.
